Garden Court Chambers celebrates Stephen Lue’s Barrister of the Year shortlist at the Resolution Awards 2026
Stephen Lue has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Barrister of the Year award at the Resolution Awards 2026, marking another significant professional recognition for the Garden Court Chambers family law specialist.
Garden Court Chambers announced the nomination on 29 June 2026, congratulating Lue on reaching the shortlist for one of Resolution’s leading annual awards. The Resolution Awards celebrate excellence across all professions in family justice.
Resolution is the largest membership organisation for family justice professionals in England and Wales, representing more than 6,500 practitioners.
Lue is a specialist family law barrister whose practice covers a broad range of matters. His work includes public and private children law, financial remedy proceedings following divorce, international child abduction cases, domestic abuse matters and Court of Protection work. Called to the Bar in 2006, he regularly represents parents, children, grandparents and other parties in complex family proceedings.
According to Garden Court Chambers, Lue’s nomination reflects his continued contribution to family law and follows several previous professional accolades. He was shortlisted for Junior Barrister of the Year at the LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2025.
Garden Court Chambers congratulated Lue on the achievement and extended its congratulations to all those shortlisted for this year’s awards. Lue has also received recognition outside award programmes this year, having featured in Attitude magazine’s Attitude 101 Financial and Legal List, which highlights influential figures in the financial and legal sectors. The winners of the Resolution Awards 2026 will be announced at a ceremony on 24 September 2026.
