Mansfield Chambers

Mansfield Chambers was established by Michael Mansfield QC in response to increasing reductions in legal aid and the ongoing erosion of access to justice for ordinary people. A prominent advocate for human rights and publicly funded legal representation, he developed a digital hub-based chambers designed to enable barristers to continue representing vulnerable individuals while reducing the costs associated with practice at the Bar. The chambers comprises a dedicated team of barristers practising across a range of areas, all committed to ensuring that justice is achieved and remains accessible to all. Under Michael’s leadership, the chambers continues to uphold and build upon the principles that have shaped his reputation. The barristers are supported by an experienced and diligent clerking team responsible for the effective operation of the chambers and the management of enquiries. Mansfield Chambers is also committed to promoting equality and diversity, recognising the historical and ongoing disadvantages faced by underrepresented groups, and working to support fair access and opportunities within the legal profession.
