Great James Street Chambers was founded in October 2004 by Alun Jones KC. It was originally based at 37 Great James Street and, in 2020, transitioned to a virtual set in response to changes in the legal profession following Covid-19. Operating under a limited company structure, Chambers has adopted a modern and flexible approach to practice, enabling expansion and reduced commission rates for its members. Its barristers provide specialist advisory and advocacy services across a broad range of practice areas, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service while fostering a supportive and progressive working environment for both barristers and clerks.
