Falcon Chambers
Falcon Chambers is the only set of barristers’ chambers whose members all specialise in property law and allied topics. It includes 17 King’s Counsel and 31 junior barristers, offering a breadth of expertise described as unrivalled and providing practical and creative solutions to client issues. Chambers undertakes work across the full range of property law and related areas, including planning, compulsory purchase, insolvency, professional negligence, valuation and public law, acting for clients from individuals to multinational organisations and developers. Members appear as advocates at all levels, including tribunals, inquiries, all civil courts up to the Supreme Court, and in arbitration, expert determination and mediation, and also act as arbitrators and advise arbitrators. Chambers has pioneered a specialist property arbitration service and has a number of qualified mediators. It also provides advice on a wide range of property transactions. Members include serving part-time judges and tribunal judges, and former members have held senior judicial positions. Many members are authors and editors of leading property law books, with the scale and standard of this work comparable to that of leading universities. Falcon Chambers maintains a structured approach to supporting the health and wellbeing of its members and staff, including defined objectives, a dedicated committee and formal policies. All barristers are regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
